About the Group

Stratford Photo Group was founded around 1947, bringing together people interested in photography in the Stratford upon Avon district. Today, as then, whatever your level of skill, equipment or interest, you will be welcome to our meetings.

Our members' interests range from the traditional monochrome processes to the latest in digital imaging.  Some of our members have developed wide ranging and considerable photographic skills over the years and are always pleased to help others improve theirs.  So whoever you are; just starting out, wish to find out more to improve your photography, compete in competitions or just to enjoy the company of other photographers, we are sure the group has something for you.

If you would like more information about the Stratford Photo Group, then email the membership secretary, Phil Welch, or phone him on 07857 162397.

The subscription for the 2016/17 season is £40, or £20 for students in full time education. All normal events are free to members, although the odd high profile speaker may require a small additional charge. The Wellesbourne workshops and occasional clubhouse workshops are charged at £3 per session. Guests who accompany members would be charged £3 per meeting, although prospective new members are welcome to attend a meeting free of charge to look us over.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings where you are assured of a warm SPG welcome.
