Stratford Photo Group 2020-21 Programme

Update: meetings in September, October, November & December will be held as Zoom meetings.  We have reviewed the situation in January and have decided to continue with Zoom meetings for the remainder of this season.

Our programme for 2020-21 takes a different approach from that of previous years.  We will be meeting fortnightly with two meetings per month from September to May (the exception is April when, as well as our two meetings, we have an inter-club fixture with Banbury Camera Club).  In addition to the programmed meetings, we shall be arranging field trips and additional workshops to accommodate members’ requirements on an ad hoc basis.

The programme opens on Tuesday 15 September with a “Show & Tell” Members’ Evening (subject, of course, to prevailing government guidance regarding Covid-19).

The other programmed meetings are:

• Four Lectures:
  • “Weird & Wonderful…ish” by Phil Cooling FRPS
  • “Seeing Is Believing" - a monochrome Zoom special by Warren Alani ARPS DPAGB AFIAP BPE5*
  • “Landscape Photography & Focal Lengths” by Claire Carter Professional Photographer
  • “A Few Happy Snaps” by Mike Sharples ARPS MPAGB EFIAP BPE5*
• Internal Competitions:
  • Three Merit Print & DPI Competitions with Judges
  • Panels Evening (open, any genre)
  • Annual Cups (open, any genre) with Judge
• Four Inter-Club Competitions:
  • 3-way with Evesham & Studley (at Evesham)
  • Match That with Droitwich & Evesham (at Evesham) CANCELLED
  • Leamington
  • Banbury
• Two Workshops (one is Malcolm’s Treasure Hunt)
• MCPF Travelling Portfolio
• AGM & Awards.

Our intention for 2020-21 is to be proactively responsive to members’ wishes and suggestions with additional events around this core programme so please let us know what you would like your club to include.
