Exhibition of prints from the GB Trophy Portfolio.

Join us for a special exhibition of stunning photographic prints from the GB Trophy Portfolio, a showcase drawn from one of the United Kingdom’s premier annual print competitions. The GB Trophy for prints is organised under the auspices of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain and features exceptional work submitted by camera club members from across the country. These prints, selected for their creativity, technical excellence and compelling storytelling, represent the very best of contemporary photographic printmaking and cover a wide range of subjects from nature to fine art. This is a rare opportunity to see these award-worthy images “in your hands,” appreciate the quality of printed photography up close, and be inspired by the diversity and talent of the photographers involved. Whether you’re a photography enthusiast, a club member, or simply enjoy beautiful imagery, this exhibition promises a memorable evening.

Within the Frame

For this theme, members are invited to create 12 photographs where the subject is clearly framed by elements within the scene. A doorway, arch, window, foliage, shadow, or architectural structure may act as your frame, but it must be present at the time of capture. The framing element should enclose the subject on at least three sides, creating a strong visual structure that draws the viewer inward. Cropping is permitted, but the frame itself must be genuine and not added in post-processing. This theme encourages careful composition and thoughtful use of foreground, midground, and background to add depth and intention.

Images should be presented on a USB memory stick, jpg format with an sRGB profile, with a maximum size of 1600 x 1200 and 2Mb
