Assignment.
This assignment explores photography made in, beside, or shaped by water. Any body of water is valid — river, canal, stream, lake, pond, or reservoir — as long as water plays a meaningful role in the image.
Photograph how water influences the scene: reflections, movement, stillness, light, texture, or the way people, wildlife, and structures interact with it. Images can be calm or dynamic, literal or abstract.
The focus is not on a specific location but on observation and interpretation. Look for atmosphere, rhythm, and visual relationships created by water and its surroundings.
Each photographer should submit six or more images responding to the theme. The images may form a cohesive series or explore different approaches, but should show intention rather than repetition.
Images will be shown at a club night, so consider variety, consistency, and how the set works as a whole, and should be in the usual format: jpg, 1600x1200 maximum, SRGB profile and no bigger than 2MB.
