23rd April - Stratford Station - 8.26am
Field trip to Birmingham - 'More canals than Venice' led by Malcolm Ranieri FRPS MPAGB.
- Catching the 8.26am Stratford to Birmingham Snow Hill train, arrive 9.20am.
- Bring outdoor clothing, stout walking boots, packed lunch and camera gear.
- Many photo opportunities, picturesque, industrial, derelict, city life, people, wildlife.
- Return time flexible, trains are hourly.

Workshop at the Clubhouse - Studio Challenge by Stewart Band LRPS.
- Workshop contribution £2 each.
- Bring cameras and lenses with close up capability (and a few laptops).
- After a short tutorial, teams of 4 to 5 members will set to work on a brief using lighting set ups supplied.
- Bring supplementary flash if you wish.
- Bring along your own object(s) if you want.
- Teams to select best image for final adjudication - massive prizes (only kidding!)
